Local data — stored on your device only:

• Your game progress, scores, streaks, and reading position
• Your Solo mode session data and memorisation list
• Your reading statistics (āyahs read, completion counts)
• Your display preferences (font size, settings)

Multiplayer lobby data — stored on our servers:

When you create or join a multiplayer lobby, the following is temporarily stored on our servers (Google Firebase):

• The nickname you choose (this can be anything — we do not ask for your real name)
• Your game scores and streaks within that lobby
• The lobby code and session settings

This data is used solely to enable real-time multiplayer gameplay. It is not linked to any personal identity and is not used for advertising, analytics, or any other purpose.

• Your real name, email address, phone number, or location
• Account information — no account is required to use the app
• Analytics or tracking data
• Advertising SDK data
• Device identifiers for tracking purposes

Complete the Āyah offers optional one-time tip payments to support the project. These payments are:

• Processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store)
• Managed through RevenueCat, a trusted payment platform
• One-time purchases — there are no subscriptions or recurring charges

The app uses the following third-party services:

These services process only the minimal data described above. We do not share any additional data with these or any other third parties.

• Local data: stored on your device until you delete the app or clear app data
• Lobby data: retained in Firebase for the duration of the lobby session only

To request deletion of any data associated with your use of the app, contact us at support@thabat.studio and we will respond within 14 days.

Complete the Āyah does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require an account and can be used without providing any personal information.

If you believe a child has provided personal data through the multiplayer feature, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it promptly.

The core experience — Solo mode, reading the Qur'an, and all game features — works fully offline. An internet connection is only required for multiplayer lobbies and in-app purchases.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
